EDGE was established and is owned by a group of nine prominent North American automation and electrical distributors, including Agilix Solutions, Gerrie Electric Wholesale International Inc., Kendall Electric Inc., Kirby Risk Corporation, McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, Revere Electric Supply Company, The Reynolds Company, Van Meter Industrial Inc., and Werner Electric Supply Company. The EDGE members collectively represent $6 billion in sales and employ 4,600 individuals across more than 200 locations, with over 100 years of history. ​

Executive Bios

Joseph R. Tylicki
​President and CEO

Joe became Interim CEO of EDGE in December 2021, later assuming the role full time. Joe joined EDGE on September 11, 2018 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 30 years of accounting and finance experience. Joe spent most of his early career in public accounting, starting with the "Big Eight" accounting firm Touche Ross and Co., as well as several local firms. Prior to joining EDGE, Joe spent sixteen years at the global alternative investment management firm, Stark Investments, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer. Joe's prior experience includes financial reporting, domestic and international/cross border tax planning and compliance, regulatory compliance, internal controls, back office operations, investors relations, and valuation of hard to value assets.

Joe earned his Bachelors of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant and is a past CFA Charterholder (2006-2019). ​

Arnaldo H. Omoto
​Global Vice President of Sales

Arnaldo joined EDGE in January 2023 as Global Vice President of Sales, bringing 23 years experience in Industrial Automation technologies including hardware, software, services and solutions for network and cybersecurity. Arnaldo spent most of his career at Rockwell Automation in multiple functions globally from Engineering, Product Development & Marketing, Manufacturing Operations, Business Leadership and Sales Leadership. For the last 4 years, Arnaldo increased his experience in software sales and expansion on non-industrial markets.

​His global experience on End to End business, including vendors, end users, OEMs and integrators in several verticals make him a great asset to our company. Arnaldo earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from State University of Sao Paulo (UNESP), master's in Business Administration from Maua Technical Institute and Executive Leadership from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Arnaldo lives in the greater Houston, Texas area with his wife Eloisa and three children.
